Laura Barron

Laura Barron (she/her/hers) (‘17) is currently the Programs Director at Wolf Performing Arts Center in Bryn Mawr. She started working there as a teaching artist in the Summer of 2016 and is now a part of the full time staff; managing classes, private lessons, and the visiting artist program. She continues to teach voice lessons, choreograph, and direct kids of all ages when her schedule allows. Her time at Villanova included an assistantship in the costume shop, and she has used those skills throughout the years doing everything from building wardrobe for Five Below commercials, to working part time in the costume shop at People’s Light and Theater from 2017-2019. Laura also finds time to perform at local theaters and favorite roles include Amy in Company and Erma in Anything Goes. Villanova helped her gain confidence as a theatre artist in so many different facets and pushed her to work hard and never stop learning and growing. She also met her husband at Villanova!
