In 19th-century Germany, young people at the edge of adulthood crash headlong into a world that wants to control their desire, curiosity, and hunger to be understood. The Tony Award-winning musical transforms Frank Wedekind's 1891 play Spring’s Awakening into a visceral rock score that gives voice to every curiosity, confusion, and excitement about adolescent sexuality. Thrilling, heartbreaking, and achingly relevant, Spring Awakening rails against repression and renders the costs of living within the limits imposed by family, society, and tradition.

*This production includes strong language, portrayals of physical and emotional violence, domestic abuse, partial nudity, suicide (with a realistic prop gun visible on stage), abortion, and discussions and staging of sexual encounters - both consensual and non-consensual.
